Meditation retreat in Dharma City, June 2024
Cultivate calm abiding and develop inner qualities
Nowadays, stress, information overload and the unceasing activities of our life create obstacles to our mental peace and balance. Meditation is a method which has been tested by generations of practitioners as well as by modern science, and proven helpful in keeping a calm and relaxed mind while engaging in our day-to-day situations.
Therefore, from 28th to 30th of June 2024, Lopön Jampa Norgyal will draw on his vast knowledge and experience of buddhist meditation and philosophy to guide this meditation retreat in Dharma City. It is a perfect opportunity both for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners to step away from our daily hustle and bustle, and to establish a solid foundation of peace of mind in order to start or strengthen a regular meditation practice.
The sessions will be divided into periods of explanation, guided meditation, and silence meditation. In his explanations, Lopön Jampa Norgyal will cover various theoretical and practical aspects, as well as offer his own insights. The goal is to discover and develop a wide range of methods to settle the mind, deal with disturbing emotions in all situations and improve our capacity for love, compassion, kindness and wisdom.
The courses will be given in Tibetan and translated into French. English translation will be available if required.
